Title: How to study biology?
Post by: fabrc on Sep 13, 2014
I wanted to know how u guys study biology because I'm having serious trouble here. Of course there's no right or wrong, but I wanted to know what methods or strategies do you use.

For example, for me in botany seems like everything is just memorization. It really is?

There's a lot of memorization, but you still need to know the theory behind it all. For example, how water moves up the tree requires knowledge in physics and chemistry. Memorizing it without understanding why might be conflicting later on when asked to explain a concept in your own words.
