Hello :) I wanted to ask for help since I've been trying to identify this structure (with the big arrow) for several minutes now. I already identified the others but I've drawn the rest on my paper.
I was wondering what that structure (with the big arrow) is .. is it an artifact?

I also have this other photo. It was difficult for me to locate where the optic nerve was since the retina was continuous and I wasn't able to locate the 'blind spot' area, so I'm trying to guess if this structure (pointed by the big arrow) is the optic nerve?

This one.. I'm not sure if it's the optic nerve since I cannot find the blind spot.. where there are supposedly no photoreceptors..

I'm guessing this is a histology course and you're looking at the anatomy of the eye?

Ah yes... we both have gross anatomy and histology (microanatomy)..

I think I already solved the problem~ I analyzed and realized that the pointed structure is actually the cornea... the structure above it is the conjunctiva~

As for the 2nd photo, I've confirmed that it really is the optic nerve~
