If you double the concentration of a nondiffusable solute that is on one side of a membrane, what would happen to the osmotic pressure? In human body,, substances from blood filter through a membrane into renal tuble (kidney). What does an increase in the driving pressure correspond to? For the second question an increase in the driving pressure would lead to filtration, since filtration in the kidneys is driven by a pressure gradient created from blood pressure.
