1.Homo sapiens appears to have become a distinct species about 200,000 years ago.However, the species did not migrate out of Africa until 50,000 years ago. How might the frequencies of alleles have changed over this period of time and why?

How might the frequencies of alleles have changed over this period of time and why?

During those 50,000 years, the allele frequency wouldn't have changed much. Without an external force there is no tendency for allele frequency to change. In order for allele frequencies to change, there must be migration, mutation, or selection. Mutations can occur randomly, but nature is what ultimately decides what get passed on. If you're living in a region that has an unchanging climate, such as countries near the equator, it won't have much of an effect.
