Title: The anterior and posterior portions of the semicircular canals detect..?
Post by: salman95 on Oct 18, 2014
Hello, my question is: The anterior portion of the semicircular canal detects acceleration in which direction?
a.) rotating the head left and right, as in saying "no"
b.) linear acceleration in the forward and backward directions
c.) the lateral flexion of the head from side to side, as in moving the ear towards the shoulder
d.) moving the head up and down as in saying "yes"
e.) linear acceleration in the up and down direction

The posterior portion of the semicircular canal detects acceleration in which direction? (It is the same answer choices above)

I would appreciate some help on these two questions, Thanks.
