Title: Factor k^6-125? Post by: lexieanderson01 on Oct 22, 2014 I need help factoring cubes. How would I factor k^6-125?
Title: Re: Factor k^6-125? Post by: Alexx on Oct 22, 2014 We have: (a3-b3)=(a-b)(a2+ab+b2)
In your case: a3=k6=(k2)3 and b3=125=53 So, a=k2 and b=5 You will apply this: a3-b3=(a-b)(a2+ab+b2) but instead of a you will put k2 and instead of b you will put 5. Click to Show |
