1.if unknown to you, your pipet was incorrectly calibrated so that it transferred less then 10 ml of solution, the density you calculated for the liquid would tend to be____( larger/smaller) than the corect value. Explain

2. the density of water is about 1g/mL at room temp. Breifly explain how the density of an aqueous solution at room temperature can be significantly less the 1g/mL Give an example of such a solution

3. how many sigfig figures are justified for the solid density determined from a graduated cylinder and top loading balance data? explain

Seems the density would be lessoned because it would be more diluted.

2. the density of water is about 1g/mL at room temp. Breifly explain how the density of an aqueous solution at room temperature can be significantly less the 1g/mL. Give an example of such a solution

Not all "aqueous solutions" are made up of H2O (water). Some ionic compounds in solution are heavier than others because they are made up of different atoms.

3. how many sigfig figures are justified for the solid density determined from a graduated cylinder and top loading balance data? explain
