Title: immunity, cells if your body is healing what type of cells are used!?
Post by: mkshawty on Nov 28, 2014
After recovering from an illness, your body may remain immune to the microbe for a long time, should the original microbe attempt to invade your body again.

Using your knowledge of immunity, explain briefly why this is so. Make sure your response mentions the specific types of cells involved.

This has to do with the basic immune response, where memory B cells are produced if the same antigen is detected. Here's an excellent resource that will help you visualize it.
