A cross of two Kerry horses always produces Kerry.
  A cross of a Kerry with a Dexter produces 1/2 and
  1/2. Crosses of two Dexters produce two Dexters for
  every Kerry. Explain. What will be an ideal response?

Answer: Kerry is homozygous (DD), Dexter is heterozygous
(Dd), dd is lethal.

Answer to q. 2

Answer: (a) no;(b) not likely but possiblewould expect a 3:1
