Title: Physioex 9.0 exercise 5
Post by: Zoe on Apr 3, 2012
I really need help!
It's under Studying the Effect of Blood Pressure on Blood Flow Rate

1. Explain the effect that pressure changes had on the flow rate.

2. How does the plot differ from the plots for tube, radius, viscosity, and tube length?

3. Use your data to calculate the increase in flow rate in ml/min/mm Hg.

1. Explain the effect that pressure changes had on the flow rate.

The increase in pressure resulted in a corresponding increase in flow rate. A decrease in pressure would result in a decrease in flow rate.

2. How does the plot differ from the plots for tube, radius, viscosity, and tube length?

The plot was linear. The other plots were curved.

3. Use your data to calculate the increase in flow rate in ml/min/mm Hg.

1.4 ml/min/mm Hg. To calculate divide the flow rate change by the change in pressure.
