Title: How many data breaches does it take to lose trust in a company?
Post by: bio_man on Sep 28, 2018
Facebook recently reported a data breach affecting 50 MILLION users! That's their second breach this year. This may not seem like a big deal for someone who uses their services casually, but for business owners who store sensitive information about their customers, this is major.

That being said, how much do you trust your favorite social media network? Where do you draw the line in terms of privacy trust.

The larger the community, the less I trust it. Over on facebook you have a sea of users, so they become less value to the people at the top who are profiting the most

Theres a way to protect and ensure your privacy on social netwroking sites such as Facebook. Theres a plug-in called uProtect.it — this plug-in allows you to post protected status updates, wall posts, comments, and even photos, the plugin encodes these posts or photos and allows you to set ‘permissions” so that only certain people you select are allowed to view the protected content.
