Title: Why do women get sick more than men?

Why do women are more often get sick than men? However,  Men Are Much Worse At Being Sick Than Women?  :thinking:

Immunity is not gender-based from a biological standpoint. There's passive immunity (the immune system you're born with) and adaptive immunity, which involves your bodies direct response to an unknown pathogen and in turn forming a customized response. So you're more capable of fighting off a pathogen the second time around regardless of your gender because of adaptive immune response. Maybe you're talking from your personal experiences, but that's not a large enough sample ;)

According to a science  article, Women tend to produce an immune response that's typical for fighting viruses. Men, on the other hand, tend to produce protein substances called antibodies which come more into play fighting bacterial infections.
