For this:

\(E(x)=\sum _{ }^{ }\left[x\cdot p(x)\right]\)

\(\sum _{ }^{ }=\left(0\times 0.2\right)+\left(1\times 0.4\right)+\left(2\times 0.1\right)+\left(3\times 0.3\right)\)

\(=\frac{3}{2}or\ 1.5\)
