If 12 men can do 36 computers in 7 hours. How many men will it take to make 36 computers in 14 hours

\(12\ :\ \left(\frac{36}{7}\right)=x\ :\ \left(\frac{36}{14}\right)\)

\(\frac{12}{\left(\frac{36}{7}\right)}=\frac{x}{\left(\frac{36}{14}\right)}\)

Cross-multiply:

\(\frac{12\cdot \left(\frac{36}{14}\right)}{\left(\frac{36}{7}\right)}=x=6\)
