Title: Re: One paragraph about Brexit. Post by: bio_man on Feb 1, 2019 Brexit was a vote on whether or not the United Kingdom should withdrawal from the European Union (EU). The referendum took place on June 23, 2016, where the majority of the population voted "yes". This meant that unlike in the past, people from other EU countries would now require a passport to travel in-and-out of the UK; essentially the open-border policy was removed. This also meant that new trade deals between countries belonging to the UK and other EU countries would have to be renegotiated or reproduced.
