Title: Tie / Joint winners in Olympics games.
Post by: prashantakerkar on May 20, 2019

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_ties_for_medals_at_the_Olympics

Do you feel if there are Joint / Tie winners in the Olympics games finals then they should be awarded the gold, silver or Bronze medal won in the particular Olympics game?

Thanks & Regards,

According to the Wiki link provided, if you tie for first, 4 medals will be given out (2 golds, 1 silver, 1 bronze). Therefore, hypothetically, there can be up to 6 medals awarded!

Quote
the Olympic organising committee makes advance arrangements for extra medals to be produced in the event of a tie.[1][2]
