• Automated buildings allow the visualization of KPIs and are good for automated ratings allowing identification of general issues but do not identify energy waste well. • Smart buildings analyze energy consumers and understand consumption of rooms in central assets well, but only analyze primary data points. • Cognitive buildings are designed to learn behavior. This includes predictive control down to the desk level, understanding energy flow and occupancy, considering comfort preferences of users, and collecting context in decisions. |
