Is it possible to design and manufacture Compact Power banks (electrical circuit modification) for Smartphones which are compact similar to a Flash drive in terms of its size?

Thanks & Regards,

Thank you.

The circuit diagram has to be further modified for compactness with the battery construction to achieve the compact design of a Flash drive?

A power bank consists of lithium ions batteries that store current. The more lithium you have, the more current can be stored for later use. The limitation to storing a lot of energy is space; with little space, little is stored (and vice-versa). Hence, it is possible to have a smaller-sized power bank, but I doubt it will be able to charge an iPhone one-fifth of the way.

The iPhone 10 has a battery that's 3,174 mAh (milliAmperes per house). This unit is used to describe the energy charge that a battery will hold and how long a device will run before the battery needs recharging. For a power bank to fully recharge an iPhone, it also needs to be 3,174 or more.

A battery rated for more mAh will power a phone for a longer amount of time, given the same usage pattern. The trade-off is that batteries with more mAh are generally also physically larger and heavier.

More technically, a higher mAh rating means the (fully-charged) battery can power a device that consumes more power and/or for a longer amount of time before becoming depleted and needing to be re-charged. For example, a battery rated at 1500 mAh can power a device drawing 100 milliamps for 15 hours, or a device drawing 150 milliamps for 10 hours.

Thank you.

It is certainly possible to manufacture Compact designed lithium cells in Power banks with the compact electrical circuit ?

I am optimistic.

Yes, absolutely, it's definitely possible today, but the issue is they'd be useless. Most electronics that operate with rechargeable batteries wouldn't get a full charge from a mini power bank, if one existed.

I once had a power bank rated at 1000 mAh. It barely moved the phone charge a few percents up :-\

Thanks.

Electrical circuit boards modifications in the power bank can assist in this regard?

Example : Using Microchips with nanotechnology.

Electrical circuits don't contribute to storage.

Look at the battery pack of a Tesla car

Notice the size. Circuitry should be the same in a power bank, but miniaturized, of course.

Thank you.

I mean a compact microchips electrical circuit for Power Bank designed & manufactured using nanotechnology which can take less space leading to compactness similar to a Flash drive.

There could be technical challenges for implementation?

But it's not the microchip that contributes to the size of a power bank, it's the cells themselves.

Thank you.

I mean microchips replacing the existing electrical components in the power bank can reduce the area space of the power bank along with the compact battery cells.

My aim was "Design & Construct Power banks which will be as small as a Flash drive in terms of space".
