I feel it could be a huge investment. Famous Brands : Tata tea, Wagh Bakri, Taj, Lipton, Society etc. Thanks & Regards, Prashant S Akerkar Title: Re: Tea powder manufacturing business. I doubt whether the Tea powder mixed with Milk, Sugar & Water sold by the Tea stall owners for Rs 6 (Half) & Rs 12 (Full) will be manufactured by them as Tea manufacturing process looks expensive. I feel they must be purchasing Tea powder in bulk quantities from famous brands. Thanks & Regards, Prashant S Akerkar Title: Re: Tea powder manufacturing business. Post by: bio_man on Sep 18, 2019 Tea processing is expensive because you need to maintain a farm where you'd harvest the tea leaves first.
To start a business like this, the capital would largely depend on where you want to harvest your leaves. Of course you'd want a location where it's warm all year round. You'd need to first buy the land, plant the trees, have people that monitor the growth, a facility to dry up the leaves (in case it's being mass produced and can't wait for the sun), packaged, and shipped. I've never heard of "tea powder" before. What is that? We use dried up tea leaves where I live. We call it steeped tea. Title: Re: Tea powder manufacturing business.
