Is it possible to install Video cameras  in Cable Cars ride so that they can be viewed remotely from Station Monitors in mountain ?

The Individual Cable cars on the mountain ride can be viewed & tracked remotely from mountain stations.

Is it possible?

There will be technical challenges to view & track all the Cable cars in the transportation ride from Point A to Point B remotely ?

Examples :

Switzerland to Italy

Switzerland  to Paris

France to Italy

and so on ...

It's an interesting idea! While there are privacy issues associated with the idea, most riders won't mind I think. The technical challenges for those that pass one mountain to another is the lack of wifi signals. The camera couldn't be able to connect to a wifi tower, rendering it useless for the purpose of monitoring the cabin.

I wouldn't classify this as R&D because the technology already exists. We have excellent portable cameras on our phones and other devices. The Internet of Things is already doing what it was designed to do (i.e. wearables automatically connecting with phones and devices around the home). Also, we can create signals in the alps, but it's require huge communication towers to be built; what's the purpose if no one lives there anyway.

Do you feel the European nations & other countries where the Cable Cars operates can take this initiative & build the CCTV system & High Towers installation technology in future ?

Examples : Switzerland, France, Italy, United Kingdom etc.

If yes, will this be a big budget project for the Government or Cable cars operators?
