Could this be rare where all the four players in Doubles Men, Doubles Women & Mixed Doubles World championship Badminton matches were Left handed players ?

Thanks & Regards,

Just as in tennis, this is disadvantageous to the team. There is a tactical advantage with opposite handed players. When they're opposite-handed, there is a general expectation of how a shuttle will be returned or how the opponent will return a shot back. A right handers backhand is forehand for a left hander and vice versa. So, the advantage lies in the ability to intercept shots and catch your opponent off guards (providing of course, the doubles combination is good). Hence, this likely never existed in a professional match, since you get to choose your partner for the most part.

Could it be interesting to have doubles Badminton matches played by four left handed legends of the game?

Thanks & Regards,
