Title: Simplify Expression using Laws of Exponents
Post by: Centennial College on Sep 24, 2019
\(\frac{3^3x^4}{3^7y^{-5}}\)

> Move the \(y^{-5}\) to the top, in the numerator

\(\frac{3^3x^4y^5}{3^7}\)

> The 3's can reduce

\(3^{-4}\cdot x^4y^5\)

> Remove negative exponent by using negative exponent rule

\(\frac{x^4y^5}{3^4}\)

> If asked to evaluate:

\(\frac{x^4y^5}{^{81}}\)
