If the argument favoring private prisons is selected, the response should include specific reference to cost savings and a way to reduce overcrowding in public facilities. If the "against" positions is selected, the response should at least include reference to the idea that private companies may try to influence sentencing and prison-related legislation as a way to increase their profit margin.
