As per statistical records, Brazil with 5, Italy & Germany tied at 4 wins are the top three countries. What are the different reasons for their success as we know football is a team game? Children start playing the sport even before they learn how to talk -- these countries really take this sport seriously. I'd say the culture plays a major role in the psychology behind winning; their population expects them to win every time they enter the stadium, so there's a lot riding on their success. The players don't want to put the spirit of their fans down, and the fans don't quit on the athletes.
