What is osmotic drying?

▸ A strong syrup is used to draw moisture from food, then the food is finish dried by air.

▸ Freezing of the food product then placing in a vacuum chamber with a small amount of heat

▸ Drying in the sun or by air current to remove moisture

▸ Treatment with ionizing radiation then drying with warm air currents
