Do you feel the Athlete will find it difficult to clear the high jump holding a Tennis or Badminton racket holding in one hand? The science behind how the athlete twists their body in mid-air might need to be adjusted. All-in-all, I don't think it'd matter.

Do you feel while performing a High jump with the Tennis or Badminton raquet, maintaing balance will become more skillful for the Athlete? Post by: bio_man on Aug 6, 2020 It definitely adds another dimension to the sport, and with more complexity, the athlete would need to modify their technique and skills a little bit to accommodate. I think that those who could do the traditional high jump would also excel in this variation.

Thanks & Regards, Prashant S Akerkar Maybe, but holding onto a racket while jumping sounds silly to me -- speaking honestly. If the physics don't change much, there's really no need for it...
