Title: What is the density of cesium bromide?
Post by: louist on Dec 3, 2021
Cesium bromide is best described as a simple cubic structure of bromide anions with a cesium cation in the center of the simple cube.  The radius of cesium cations is 181 pm, while the radius of bromide anions is 182 pm.  From this information, what is the density of cesium bromide?
a) 4.80 g/cm3
b) 9.60 g/cm3
c) 2.63 g/cm3
