Title: Genetic Mapping in Human Pedigree Post by: Higgs on Feb 16, 2022 For each pedigree, fill in the results of your analysis ( number of recombinants and parentals). In addition to a number of recombinants and number of parentals, there is are cases where it is not possible to develop a hypothesis for linkage
between the disease allele and the (+) or (-) RFLP alleles or it is not possible to unambiguously follow the RFLP allele into the third generation of the pedigree. In those instances, you should label it NA. I am getting lost on all of it. I don't know where to start and how to start. Noticed this topic posted yesterday, but was hoping someone would tackle it, since I didn't know where to start. You wouldn't happen to have a sample problem that we can see? I've never done something like this, so I'd be interested in learning. |
