This is because the elements of deceit includes fraudulent misrepresentation, the defendant had an intent to deceive the plaintiff, the defendant spoke falsely, Furthermore, the defendant knew some amount of falseness in the knowledge. However, the actions of a plaintiff resulting in to a loss cannot be termed as an element of deceit. |
