There are 8 lanes for Swimmers. 8 is a even number.

Why not 9 or 10? I.e. > 8.

9 is odd number, 10 is even number.

Thanks & Regards,

I don't think it matters whether it is 8,9,10 etc. In theory, it could be >8, but perhaps it requires a greater area to work with, so 8 is optimal. Not sure, though
