How do i find the calorimeter constant? I used Ccal = Qstandard mstandard + Qwire mwire / change in T
and i got 5592.197 cal C
Is this right?

To find the heat capacity (the constant), use the formula:

q_solution = m ⋅ C_S ⋅ ΔT

Rearrange:

q_solution / m ⋅ ΔT   = C_S

ΔT = 25.4 - 22.8 = 2.6

m = 0.9898 g
