Title: Re: Dilution in lab Post by: bio_man on Sep 30, 2022 If one 1 mL of sample is transferred into another 9 mL sample, then you have 10 mL of sample. You haven't pointed out the concentrations of these two samples. If the concentration is the same, then the 10 mL's hasn't been diluted.
Which follows the second sentence: "THEN 1ml from that dilution is transferred into a tube containing 9 ml of sample. What is the final dilution" It assumes the 10 mL's has been diluted, when it has not. Is this how the question is written or did you make it up? |
