Post by: samestepp on Feb 19, 2023 We are interested in seeing if different course formats lead to a significant grading difference. Specifically, we want to know if the days on which a class meets have an effect on overall performance. We select a course that has attendance options of MWF, TR, MTRF, sprint format (compressed schedule), and summer term format (highly compressed schedule). For each format, the proportion of total points scored is recorded. A one-way ANOVA summary appears below:
Do the mean scores appear to differ for different formats? Select the proper conclusion. (Useα= 0.01). ▸ p-value <αso fail to rejectH0; mean score appears to be different for at least two of the course formats. ▸ p-value >αso fail to rejectH0; mean score appears to be different for at least two of the course formats. ▸ p-value <αso rejectH0; mean score appears to be the same for all formats. ▸ p-value >αso fail to rejectH0; the mean score does not appear to be different for the formats.
