not sure but I will give an example.. hope this helps  :)

Standard protein solution (600 ug/ml in 0.15 M NaCl)
 
What would be the concentation of 0.2ml of protein solution with 0.8ml of NaCl?

 C1V1=C2V2
 C1 600 μg/mL
 V1 0.2 mL
 V2 1.0 mL (0.2+0.8)
 C2 = (600*0.2)/1 = 120 μg/mL
