Title: Mycology : Fungarium in Kew - searching for list of stored there fungi species
Post by: mistrzou on Feb 24, 2015
Hi, I'm 22yr old amateur man from Poland.

I'm interested in access to list of fungi species stored in Kew. As I know there is about 1.250.000 of them and each year this number grow up by about 4.000 - 5.000.

1. Is there any list of this fungi species available on internet?
2. How they were segregated?
3. Is there division to more and less complex forms of fungi?
4. Is there any easy way to see which species is currently under research?

I know that it is difficult to show over 1million species on the internet, but I think it should be available for everybody, especially for those who have discovered a new species and they are not sure whether such a species is not in Kew.
