Post by: colleen on Jun 19, 2012
A teacher believes in discipline: students sit in neat rows of desks, one in front of the next. They are quiet and attentive during lectures; however, they do not ask questions or discuss ideas. After lectures, the teacher has students work independently on assignments. According to Lev Vygotsky, will this teaching style be effective? Give at least two reasons why it would or would not be.
