Title: Uncertainty about biology degree options due to recent "disability"
Post by: Stacym on Apr 17, 2015
Hello I recently graduated with my Bachelors degree, double major in public health and natural science. I have an interest in Biology, specifically Molecular and Cellular Biology. Unfortunately, a few months after my college graduation I got an infection and as a result, I lost complete vision in one eye.

I was intending on applying for Masters and PhD programs; however, I'm now concerned that I might have a lack of options. Basically, I'm wondering if anyone can provide advice on paths that would NOT require the frequent use of binocular microscopes?

Thank you!

Terribly sorry to hear that... Wow, what a shock.

Congratulations on your degrees, you're a scholar.

You should follow your dream, is the other eye healthy, will your vision heal?

Off the top of my head, physiotherapy and teaching come to mind.
