Title: tumorigenesis: ERB and c-myc Post by: ehd123 on May 5, 2015 Am I correct in thinking that because ERB (which is downregulated in cancers) downregulates c-myc ( c-myc regulatesthe cell cycle and transcription) and so this is a form of epigenetic modification?

The articles I read mentioned ERB (estrogen receptor beta). They said that it was significantly downregulated in breast cancer. And that there was a strong downregulation of c-myc in the presence of ERB.
