Title: A solar-heated steam-electric generating plant heats steam to 250°C.
Post by: mcyyan on May 16, 2015
A solar-heated steam-electric generating plant heats steam to 250°C. After passing through the turbine, cooling towers cool the steam to 30°C. Calculate the ideal efficiency of this power plant. Remember that you must convert Celsius temperatures to degrees Kelvin before using the following formula.
  %
efficiency = (Tin - Tex) / Tin
