Title: Why were the concentration camp prisoners so slim?
Post by: Frank_Baker on May 28, 2015
Brand new studies have debunked the idea that food has to do with weight. Fatness on the body has to do with bacteria and viruses and they are highly contagious, and those prisoners were kept in very cramped unsanitary conditions, and fed about 1,200 calories a day.

Our bodies store excess energy as fat. These biochemical pathways are well documented in literature and should not be disputed.

Well according to scientists, an obese person with a BMI of 32 could eat 1,000 cal a day and never lose weight, due to gut flora.

I believe it's rather simple, if your energy needs exceeds your daily caloric intake, you lose weight eventually. Energy stored as fat is then converted into usable energy.

Doesn't that make sense?

According to new scientific studies overeating has less to do with obesity, but gut flora has a lot to do with it.
Something about bacteria converting a 500 calorie meal into a 1000 calorie meal, etc.

Microflora can't create matter. There's nothing scientific about what you're writing. Simply reading your ideas makes me cringe. Where do you get your ideas from?

You wrote that bacteria can convert 500 calories into 1000. That suggests you are creating matter. If that were the case, the energy crisis would be solved.

Well, scientists are saying that the notion of 'calories in - calories out, excess calories = fat' isn't exactly true and I also read a forum about the study and it said an obese person with a BMI of 32 still remained obese with a BMI of 32 despite eating only 1,000 calories a day.

Some of these commenters mention that mice in studies got fatter without eating excess calories

Mice infected with magical bacteria create fat out of nothing:

Now why aren't these scientists infecting crops with this magic bacteria? I'd imagine many lives would be saved if the amount of calories each crop field produced got increased significantly, despite the same number of crops, and the ecomomic impact would be outstanding.

No such thing as magic bacteria. That's a concept you just made up. That's why they haven't infected crops with it, because it doesn't exist.
