Title: What can you do with an education degree, aside from teaching? Post by: smileetons on Apr 12, 2012 I am getting a degree in education but have decided against student teaching because I do not want to be a teacher any longer. I know it sounds foolish, but the more I learn of the restrictions put on teachers (due to the no child left behind act) I have decided this career is not for me. I only have two semesters left so I am going to graduate, but I will have a degree without a teaching certificate. So my question is simply this... what other jobs can you obtain with a job in education, without being an educator? Has anyone else experienced this?
