Title: Negative and positive feeback systems relate?
Post by: studybioforbio on Jul 31, 2015
How do the negative and positive feedback systems relate? Do these systems communicate through cells?

I know that negative feedback systems serve to keep the body in check by decreasing or increasing chemicals or actions to get it back to a certain point, but I don't truly understand how it physiologically relates to the positive feedback system. On a more basic level, I understand that the negative feedback system is used with situations like producing more insulin, and the positive feedback system works with giving birth to produce more contractions.
