Title: Chromosomal basis of inheritance Post by: Avradeep on Aug 12, 2015 In the hexaploid wheat(6n=42) , the haploid(n) and basic(x) numbers of chromosome are -
a) n=7 , x=21 b) n=21 , x= 21 c) n=21 , x=14 d) n=21 , x=7 I thought that haploid numbers of chromosome is 7. As 7*6=42. but the ans is D I don't understand this.
