Title: what jobs are there for people with a sociology degree? Post by: smisha26 on Jul 20, 2012 There was a comedian years ago...it might have been Bill Cosby...who said Sociology majors usually end up being used as basketballs by guys in the hood. But of course, that's not true.
Soc majors often end up in law, psychology and related fields, and many other places. The degree is liberal arts, and you are exposed to many disciplines along the way. While there may or may not be many "jobs" for sociology majors in their field, there is certainly a place for someone who has a well rounded education.
