Title: are skin problems related to blood deficiency? Post by: zzz on Jan 31, 2012 i have been diognized on 02/01/2007 and found to have HGB 8.5g/dl this is due to excesive bleeding? now !can this resistancy in responding to medication result of blood deficiency?

Post by: zzwChris on Feb 3, 2012 I don't think that because your hemaglobin level is low is due to the fact that your deficient in blood,your level should be above 13.8(male )and 12.1(female),the bleeding is one of several symptoms and its the lack of protein(hemaglobin) that oxygenate your blood that is causing the problem.Your skin however can become infected if broken caused by your condition.If you think that you are resistant to medication, it will probably be trial and errror until it is corrected.
