The likelihood that the father is the father given the situations:
1. Father is heterozygous and the mother is heterozygous: 0%? 25%? 50%? 75%? or 100%?

2. Father is homozygous and the mother is heterozygous: 0%? 25%? 50%? 75%? or 100%?

Both parents have to be heterozygous. For blood type A, the genotype can be AO or AA, and for blood type B, the genotype can be BO or BB. If you make a punnet square, you'll see that there is a 25% chance that a heterozygous type A and a heterozygous type B have a child with type O.

In order for that to happen the Mom would need to have AO genotype and the father would have BO.

An O phenotype needs an OO genotype, so both parents would need to have an O.

100% chance of being heterozygous, 0% chance of being homozygous.
