Similar to passive:  requires no energy

Similiar to active:  Occurs through channels/proteins.

Exocytosis - is basically how a cell eliminates its waste products. So, the two ways are:
1) Allows for the waste products to eliminated from the body by sending them through the interstitial fluid and to the exiting duct (either the rectum, or the urinary bladder).
2) Allows for, in time of more efficient needs such as exercise, a cell to become more efficient. Many organisms have a gastrovascular cavity (one hole for eating and excreting) which makes it hard on their cells to carry the wastes all the way to the hole and then back to redistribute the nutrients. But not the human body, it is very efficient in that it allows for constant absorption of the nutrients and elimination of the waste products, which in turn maintains homeostasis.

Facilitated diffusion is basically using natural forces to transport wastes and nutrients in between cells in capillaries and muscle tissues. This is very efficient (one reason the human is an evolved species). This does both passive and active transport because the cells must be pumped by the heart (which is active because energy in the form of ATP is being used), but it is also passive, because the natural force of diffusion (which is the natural ability of a liquid to spead out as far as possible, seeking low-pressure areas) does all the work, which is know as passive transport, because it is not spending any energy.
