Title: What are the subdivisions of each biome?
Post by: MicroMan84 on Sep 22, 2012
So I'm doing a reaserch project(summer school) in biology about biomes and my teacher said that we can do a specific section from the biome to complete our shadow box.
The only example she gave us was "like freshwater or marshes from the aquatic biome". So I was wondering if someone could give me a list of ALL the 'subdivisions' for each biome.
Any other tips would be nice! Thank you and PLEASE ANSWER!! =)

I guess nobody else is going to answer so....

There are six major types: Freshwater, Marine, Desert, Forest, Grassland and Tundra.
The freshwater and marine biomes are probably the most important of all the biomes. Please study the links for specific information that would relate to your project.

I hope this helps....Good luck
