During a job search, the portfolio showcases your work to potential employers. It presents evidence of your relevant skills and abilities.
The value of observation and portfolios in early childhood classrooms was to help children with whatever they needed while learning. This will all happen through the observation cycle, which evaluated children in the classroom, documenting, examining evidence, organizing instruction, implementing, and lastly evaluating results. This would happen and student’s in the classroom would gain better results on everything they do after this process is completed.
