Im doing a science project thingy thats a wriiten report, and one question says"Explain where mieosis and gamete formation take place"
I have no idea what to write AND IT NEEDS TO BE A PARAGRAPH! PLEEEEASE HELP!

In female animals, the gamete is the egg (ovum) and it is produced by meiosis in the ovary.  You can read more about it here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oogenesis
